China Nerin's Subsidiary Wins Bid for the Intelligent System Integration and Operational Maintenance Project of Kitumba Copper Mine in Zambia
Recently, Jiangxi Nerin Electric & Automation Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Nerin Electric” ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Nerin, has successfully secured the intelligent systems subcontract for Kitumba Copper Mine project in Zambia, owned by Sinomine Resource Group Co., Ltd.. This achievement marks another successful international deployment of China Nerin’s self-developed ?NDI Full-process Digital Intelligence Solution in the overseas mining market?, fully demonstrating the company's technological strength and market competitiveness in the intelligentization sector of the non-ferrous metals industry.
Kitumba Copper Mine project in Zambia serves as a flagship overseas copper resource development project of Sinomine Resource Group Co., Ltd., with a total investment of approximately USD 563 million. This integrated mining-processing-smelting operation holds significant influence within Zambia's mining sector and represents a benchmark mining project under the Belt and Road Initiative. Focused on the full process intelligent construction, the project's core components align seamlessly with the NDI solution, encompassing the construction and operational maintenance services of key intelligent systems such as instrumentation control system, integrated communication system, intelligent lubrication system, equipment lifecycle management system, and tailings storage facility online monitoring system.
